Sonia Gandhi makes waves in UP

Begum Noor Bano made a brief speech ending with, "When you see the results Soniaji you will realise how much people respect you here."
At 1.16 pm Sonia started her speech by thanking the crowd for waiting for her in the heat. She said this was a land of sacrifice but there was no progress here. The poor and the weak were sad here. No new power project had come up in the last few years. The farmers have power problems. Industry needs power too. Water is a problem here because the canals are not clean.
