Scenario III: My boss has a terrible temper and tends to yell at/insult me in front of everyone. This is very embarrassing and affects my self-esteem and productivity. How do I handle this?

Solution: First, evaluate whether your boss is nice otherwise.

If, yes talk to him/her in calmer times. Gradually, things will improve.

Kimberly has had bosses who have had the tendency to bully and bully loudly.

"There was this one time," she recalls, "I actually cried. But at the end of the day, all the people, the men and women I have worked under, have had their good points, so there is no cause to complain, really."
