Spot the dreaded gangster Abu Salem [ Images ] in the photograph alongside?

For years Bollywood and other affluent citizens of Mumbai [ Images ] have been terrorised by Salem and his gang. On Friday, the city finally got a glimpse of the gangster.

Extradited from Portugal on Thursday, Salem was remanded to police custody until November 23 by an anti-terrorism court.

He was produced in court amidst tight security before the designated court hearing the March 12, 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case, in which he is a prime accused.

According to the Central Bureau of Investigation, Salem has been extradited in connection with eight cases, including the blasts case, two cases of passport forgery registered in Lucknow [ Images ], three cases of extortion registered in Delhi [ Images ] and another murder case.

Monica Bedi [ Images ], the Bollywood starlet and Salem's girlfriend, will be taken to Hyderabad and produced before a court there on or before November 14.
