Jeeva, Mohanlal's buddy in Keerthichakra

July 6, 2006
Major portions of the film were shot in Kashmir. Was that a pleasant experience, or were you tense?

It wasn't my first visit to Kashmir in recent times, as my aunt lives there. My first trip was in 1998. Although the situation was quite grave, I was not tense. This time, we had the support of the Army, so there was nothing to worry about.

But when you listen to the stories of militant activities happening there, it is quite scary. We shot in some of the most terrorist-stricken areas. Major Ravi told me they were very sensitive areas with lots of terrorist attacks at regular intervals.
