Mike Okoro was the top-scorer for the champs with 17 goals while Yakubu Yusif of Churchill Brothers finished as the tournament's leading scorer with 21 goals. Archrivals Mohun Bagan finished seventh. Goan clubs -- all four of them -- finished among the top six and posed the biggest challenge to East Bengal.
