BJP workers celebrate at the party's headquarters in New Delhi. Party president Rajnath Singh says it is the non-implementation of the policies of the Congress that has led to its crushing defeat in Punjab and Uttarakhand.
"In both states, the people have voted the Congress out because they were upset with their rule. We won these states because we raised issues that were close to the people," he said.
