A nation's prayers save Prince
July 24, 2006
What impressed and emotionally tugged the heart-strings of millions of Indians was the boy's attitude. He did weep occasionally, felt sleepy and irritated, but showed rare poise and courage that became the talking point for the entire nation.
Across the nation Prince’s ordeal sparked prayers in churches, mosques and temples. TV channels were flooded with messages wishing his speeding rescue. Many temples undertook special havans.
