This year the event is being held at three different venues in Mumbai.
While the inaugural ceremony was held at the S N Kohli stadium, the other functions of the day were held at the Tata Hall and Jamshed Bhabha Hall in the National Center for Performing Arts, South Mumbai.
This caused some confusion among the delegates, who were trying to figure out where the various sessions were being held. In the absence of proper guidance, they had a tough time getting themselves registered.
Many had to stand in long queues for more than two hours to get entry passes.
As a result, some could not make it in time for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's inaugural speech.
