Recalling her own bad experiences on how she was targeted by people after they discovered her mobile number, Deepal says, "Somebody was using my name and chatting on the Net. Someone got hold of my phone number and told me that I was chatting with him. Soon, he started using abusive language. I had a traumatic experience. I went to the police and complained. That's when I understood how a mischief can make life miserable for ordinary people."
What is her take on pornography? Deepal pauses before she replies, "That's a difficult question. I think a woman dancing in a wet sari can also be called pornography. It depends on how you see it."
About her future plans, Deepal says, "I am doing Karma, Confessions and Holi with Sushmita Sen, Drena De Niro [Hollywood star Robert De Niro's daughter] and [supermodel] Naomi Campbell. I am very excited about that project. But as of now, I'm waiting to see how audiences react to my first step in acting in Kalyug."
