Kalyug tells the tale of a newlywed couple on their honeymoon. In their hotel room, their intimate moments are caught by secretly embedded web cameras.

The film then makes it to the Internet, as porn, and the girl commits suicide.

"Pornography is one of the biggest businesses in the world. It runs into billions of dollars. People thrive on it. Kalyug represents all that, and how dubious means and methods used by some people can destroy lives of common people," Deepal says.
