Paneer Salad

Serves 4
Cooking time (approximately): 10 minutes

~Ingredients

100 gm paneer
2 grated carrots
1 cup shelled peas
½ tsp mustard seeds
½ tsp black pepper powder
2 tbsp of coriander leaves, chopped
1 tsp oil
½ tsp salt

~Method

Heat the oil.

Add mustard seeds.

Add the grated carrot and shelled peas and cover for two minutes.

Transfer it to a serving bowl.

Mash the paneer with a spoon and add to the above.

Add black pepper, salt and chopped coriander.

Mix it properly and serve.

Note: The salad can double up as a dinner dish as it goes very well with hot rotis or chapattis. It is rich in protein and has high nutritional value. Since it uses very little oil, is low in fat.
