There may be one individual you would like to share your life with. But don't apply that trend of thought to your money.

There is no one 'best' company or one great sector or one good investment.

Diversify. Diversify! Invest in different companies, in different sectors.

Put some money in 'safe' places -- like the bank, post office or financial institution bonds, like ICICI and IDBI.

Invest in mutual funds of different fund houses, not just one.

Invest in shares, of different companies, not just one.
