Prioritise your list

This is easier said than done.

To do so, you will have to take a time frame into account (when you want the money for) as well as your age.

My friend, for instance, was planning a holiday later this year. Hence that took priority over the rest.

The home theatre, she figured, was not all that pressing.

Being in her early twenties, she also decided that the home could wait for a few more years.

Now, if she were in her 30s, the home might have taken priority over the holiday. And, probably, once she did get the home, the home theatre would displace the holiday from top position!
