CRICKET What a win! It was India's first win Down Under in 22 years; it was the first time in 10 years a team visiting Australia had taken a lead. India won a remarkable game at the Adelaide Oval by four wickets. Rahul Dravid aggregated 305 runs for the Test. Quite fittingly he bagged the man of the match award, scoring a career-best 233. How could a team that scored 556 runs in the first innings of a Test lose the game? How could a batsman (Ricky Ponting) who scored 242 runs -- the highest score in the match -- end up on the losing side? The architects of the Indian win were Dravid and V V S Laxman who put together a record 303 runs, and Ajit Agarkar who returned career-best figures of 6 for 41 which triggered an Australian collapse in the second innings.
