Ponting's century off 99 balls was a highlight of the match, though part-time wicket-keeper Rahul Dravid missed a very sharp stumping chance when the Australian captain had not even opened his account, and a regulation chance when he was on 25. The bowler to suffer in both cases was left-arm spinner Murali Kartik, who had Ponting in all sorts of trouble, especially early in his innings.
