Former BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya condoled Union Sports Minister Sunil Dutt's death, describing him as a pleasant personality who was keen about the development of all sporting disciplines in the country.
"He was a perfect gentleman," Dalmiya said, adding that Dutt always exhibited his enthusiasm about taking Indian sports to the international level.
"He always exhibited true sportsman spirit and interacting with him was a pleasure," he continued. "I had several interactions with him. He was very enthusiastic in ensuring that the Champions Trophy cricket tournament was held in India. He willingly accompanied us when we went to meet Finance Minister P Chidambaram on the issue. Such an active sports minister has not been seen in a long time."
