Just before the seven-phase Uttar Pradesh polling process was set to roll, Amitabh Bachchan tried hard to convince the voters and the rest of the country: UP mein dum hai, kyunki idhar jhurm kam hai (UP has what it takes, because it has less crime).
You are free to believe or disbelieve Bachchan, but here, photographer N V Reuben shows you why he thinks the superstar is right.
In just the 60 kilometres between Varanasi and Ghazipur, he came across numerous moments that convinced him that UP mein dum hai.
Like in this image, where the truck had lost all its dum, and from morning to evening it was in the same position.
