Spelling bee: Indian-American kids disappoint

She misspelt 'cilice' as 'c-i-l-i-s'.

That was end of of Kavya Shivashankar in Scripps National Spelling Bee contest. She exited the competition -- one which the Indian-American kids have made their own -- in the seventh round.

This year, only three Indian-Americans entered the final round and even they could not last long, putting paid to the community's hopes.
