Adieu to Lord Ganesha

Neither the Supreme Court ban on the use of loudspeakers between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. nor the devastating floods that hit the city late July could dampen the enthusiasm of the people for the immersion ceremony, which marks the culmination of one of the most colourful and popular festivals of Maharashtra.
