call them Osiris, Roan, Triton, Zeus, Varuna or Indra, the gods of water and rain must be angry. Ever since the gigantic waves unleashed their fury all across Asia on December 26, 2004, natural water-borne disasters have not stopped wreaking havoc.

From Colombia to the Czech republic, the water's wrath has killed thousands and affected billions all across the globe since December 2004. Here's a quick look at six deadly washouts.
