Former deputy chief ministers Chhagan Bhujbal and Vijaysinh Mohite-Patil on Tuesday were sworn-in as cabinet ministers in Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh's team.

The two Nationalist Congress Party leaders were administered oath of office by Governor Mohammed Fazal at a function at Azad Maidan in south-Mumbai.
From the Congress, senior party leader and former forest minister Surupsinh Naik and former industries minister Patangrao Kadam were inducted as cabinet ministers.

Others who were sworn in were: former finance minister Jayant Patil, Suresh Jain, Ashok Chavan, Harshavardhan Patil, Ganesh Naik, Vasant Purke, Dilip Valse-Patil, Anees Ahmed, Anil Deshmukh, Balasaheb Thorat, Vimal Mundada, Chandrakant Handore, Nawab Malik, Vijaykumar Gavit, Sunil Tatkare, Manohar Naik and Ramraje Nimbalkar.
