Although India has not sought international aid to tide over the tsunami tragedy, the world has moved quickly to marshal relief materials, like this Pakistani non-governmental Organisation, the Edhi Welfare Foundation which is readying burial shrouds for victims at their office in Karachi.
Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf has offered support to India and other nations devastated by the earthquake and tidal waves that spared his own country.
