Superstars get sporty

Blame it on Nagesh Kukunoor. We might be a cricket-crazy nation, but our cricket films -- remember Devsaab's Awwal Number -- have always been pathetic. But Iqbal changed all that.

In keeping with Bollywood's herd mentality, everyone is clambering onto the athletic bandwagon. Here's a look:

Shah Rukh Khan, Hockey

In Shimit Amin's Chak De, SRK reportedly plays a passionate coach who takes a women's hockey team to glory. Sounds interesting, but can the gritty Ab Tak Chhappan director handle a frothy Yashraj Film with all the bubblegum it deserves?

As for the plot, yeah, we've seen it before but really -- who else can Bend it like Shah Rukh?
