It was a musical evening when the MTV Immies, supported by the Indian Music Industry, kickstarted its inaugural awards ceremony at Mumbai's Goregaon Sports Club.

Hosted by Saif Ali Khan and Cyrus Broacha, the function glittered with stars like Kajol, Abhishek Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Salman Khan, Sonali Bendre, Yana Gupta, Lata Mangeshkar, A R Rahman, Karan Johar, Ishaa Koppikar, Malaika and Amrita Arora.

Here, Shah Rukh Khan receives his award for Best Male Performance in the song Tauba tumhare from his hit home production Chalte Chalte. Janasheen star Fardeen Khan looks on.
