For her debut directorial film, Pooja Bhatt has repeated some members of the Jism cast, like John Abraham and Gulshan Grover.

Paap also introduces model Udita Goswami into films. Goswami, who hails from Dehradun, plays the character of Kaaya, a naïve village girl in the film. Abraham plays a police officer.

Shot extensively in Ladakh, Paap is scheduled for a January 16 release.
