Sanjay Dutt plays a doctor with a difference in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's light-hearted comedy Munnabhai MBBS.

Directed by his editor-turned-filmmaker Raju Hirani, Munnabhai MBBS revolves around the colourful Munnbhai, a rogue forced to pose as a doctor to protect himself from his parents' wrath.

The comedy has Sanjay sharing screen space with his father and veteran actor Sunil Dutt for the first time. The duo previously played father-son in Rocky and Kshatriya, but didn't have any scenes together.

Munnabhai MBBS features a gamut of talented actors like Rohini Hattangady, Boman Irani, Arshad Warsi and Jimmy Shergill.

The film is scheduled for a January 2 release.
