Australia fast bowler Glenn McGrath winces in pain as physio Errol Alcott attends to his injury before the start of the second Ashes Test against England at Edgbaston in Birmingham, on Thursday.
McGrath was ruled out of the second Test after suffering a freak injury while warming up for the match. The 35-year-old stepped on a cricket ball during a game of touch rugby and damaged ligaments in his right ankle.
"To be optimistic, I'm aiming for Trent Bridge [fourth Test] at worst," McGrath said.
