On Saturday August 23, Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar scored his 30th Test century in his 99th Test and edged past the great Sir Donald Bradman.

"For all Bradman's achievements, Tendulkar is the closest thing to batting perfection I've seen - in terms of technique and temperament," said Sunil Gavaskar, the man with the maximum number of centuries (34) in Test history.

"Statistically, I have passed Don Bradman but I can't be compared with him. He's not a normal person," replied Tendulkar with a touch of modesty.

Wish Sachin Tendulkar on scoring his 30th Test century.
