Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly said he is yet to decide whether he would don shirt number 99 throughout the World Cup or switch over to number 24 in the remaining matches.
"I'm yet to decide whether to continue wearing number 99. I have another choice -- number 24. Let's see..." Ganguly said in an interactive column with readers of the Bengali daily Ananda Bazar Patrika on Tuesday.
Ganguly said he had decided on 99 after he was made skipper and an astrologer suggested that the number would bring good luck to his side.
"I was told that my team would win finals of major tournaments. Then I opted for it," he said.
Ganguly had played the 1999 World Cup in England wearing shirt number one.
