SPORT Shooting success Anjali Vedpathak-Bhagwat and Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore maintained India's glory in shooting. Anjali, ranked No 2 in the world, won the 10 metres Air Rifle World Cup final in Milan. The 34 year old displayed superb form to shut out world No 1 Li Du of China to second place and world No 3 Hiromi Masaki of Japan to third. She also won gold at the World Cup in Fort Benning, USA, and bagged gold and silver at the Afro-Asian Games in Hyderabad. Double Trap shooter Rajyavardhan booked an Olympic berth and moved up to a career high of world No 4. The 33 year old won a bronze in the New Delhi leg of the World Cup in April.
