The Davis Cup showdown
Spain won its first Davis Cup in the event's 79-year history in 2000 as Ferrero defeated Australian Lleyton Hewitt 6-2, 7-6 (7-5), 4-6, 6-4 to give his country an insurmountable 3-1 lead.
But this time round, Hewitt (left), who has slipped to number 17 in the world, is not taking any chances.
"We have the utmost respect for the Spanish and we know what happened against the French two years ago. We're not taking it lightly at all. We have all prepared as well as possible and we will leave nothing in the locker," said the Aussie ace on the eve of the final.
