Humpy loses match and lead
World junior chess champion Koneru Humpy lost her sixth round match and her overnight lead after losing to Woman Grandmaster Trang Hoang of Vietnam in the First Saturday Grandmasters tournament in Budapest, Hungary, on Thursday.
The defeat saw 14-year-old ace, who played with white, slip to third place in the 12-team tournament, with four points to her credit.
International Master Horvath Peter of Hungary, with five points, and IM Jakab Attila (4.5 points), also from Hungary, are placed first and second respectively.
In the seventh round, Humpy will play Horvath with black pieces.

The First Saturday GM tournament, which began on October 6, ends on October 17. Twelve players from various countries like Hungary, Yugoslavia, Syria, Qatar, Vietnam, Bulgaria and India are participating.
