Janata Dal-Secular on Monday released its manifesto for the coming Karnataka assembly elections.
The manifesto, which was released by party supremo H D Deve Gowda at the party headquarters at Race Course road in Bangalore, envisions:
- Farm loan waiver in one year
- Filling up of vacant posts in government services
- Free guest house for Below Poverty Line families
- Minimum wages for garment workers
- Complete implementation of Sachar committee report
- Special Task Force for prevention of land encroachment in Bangalore and Mysore
- Rs 1 lakh insurance scheme for auto and transport vehicle drivers
- Special layout for BPL families in urban areas
- Health insurance for the poor
