With investigators failing to make much headway in the Noida double murder case, a court on Tuesday remanded dentist Rajesh Talwar's compounder Krishna in six days of CBI custody as the agency claimed he was required for recovery of weapon used in murders.

After completion of his three days of CBI remand, Krishna was produced in the court of designated judge Sapna Mishra, who remanded him to six days in CBI custody.

Arguing in the court, CBI counsel R K Saini contended that Krishna was not co-operating in the case and was misleading the investigators.

Strongly advocating for further 11 days of remand, Saini said, "If this was not accepted, the CBI will be losing valuable right to interrogate him and investigate the case."

The CBI counsel said the agency was also trying hard to recover the weapon used in the double murder of Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj.

Krishna's lawyer F C Sharma opposed the CBI's demand for more remand saying the agency was "concocting" stories around his client and was also forcing him to "make a witness against himself".

He also told the court that Krishna had not given any statement before the CBI.

Krishna was arrested by the CBI on June 13 after reports of various scientific tests were received by the CBI.
