Army on Sunday conducted flag march in sensitive areas of Ahmedabad in Gujarat, which was rocked by 16 blasts on Saturday evening, police said.

"As a precautionary measures army has been called in and its personnel are conducting flag march in sensitive areas of the city," Additional Commissioner of Police Mohan Jha told PTI.
The administration fears that there might be repercussions of the blasts in form of communal clashes, once the post-mortem are conducted and bodies are handed over to relatives for cremations.

At present the situation is under control and no untoward incident has taken place so far, Jha said.
Sixteen serial blasts had rocked the city on Saturday evening, killing at least 45 persons and injuring over 100.
