The Congress on Friday claimed that a chief minister was involved in the cash-for-votes scam during the trust vote.
"A chief minister is being talked about whose wife has business links with a businessman," said Congress Spokesman Shakeel Ahmed. He refused to name the chief minister or to which party he belonged or the state concerned.
"This is being talked about in the political circles," Ahmed said.
He said the currency notes had slips of State Bank of Indore, but did not elaborate further.
Asked about the video tapes of the sting operation relating to the scam which is in possession of the Lok Sabha Secretariat, Ahmed said, "It is up to the Speaker to decide whether the tapes are to be telecast or not."
