Bahujan Samaj Party MP from Uttar Pradesh Umakant Yadav, accused in a murder case, was on Friday permitted by a Jaunpur court to participate in a special session of Lok Sabha on July 22 when the United Progressive Alliance government seeks confidence vote.

District Judge Shivanand Mishra passed this order and directed SSP Lucknow to make necessary security arrangements for the MP.

Yadav, who comes from Azamgarh, was lodged in Fatehgarh jail in a murder case and was shifted to Medical University in Lucknow a day after PWD Minister Nasimuddin Siddiqi met him.

Yadav reported chest pain and his condition was stated to be stable by doctors in Lucknow.
