The Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday said it will not align with any party to form a government in Jammu and Kashmir even as trends indicated a hung assembly in the border state.

Congress might team up with PDP or NC: Sources

"No question of supporting either the Congress or PDP or National Conference in Jammu and Kashmir," BJP Vice President Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said.

Asserting that this was the BJP's 'clear-cut' plan, he said, "There are lots of ideological differences with them as they all are directly or indirectly supporting the terrorists."

J&K polls a 'lesson to be learnt by neighbours'

J&K BJP chief Ashok Khajuria told media persons in Jammu that his party will not support PDP.

"We will have no coalition with PDP. There is no question of joining with them to form government," Khajuria said.

Congress will determine the future of J&K: Soz

"BJP will emerge as a strong force for forming a government in the state. The alliance would be decided by the leadership in New Delhi," Khajuria said.
