Telugu super star Chiranjeevi is not making any public appearances or talking about his soon to be launched political party, as he has been advised by astrologers not do so till the lunar eclipse on Sunday

His camp has already announced that Chiranjeevi will announce his party's name in a media conference on August 17. "The date has been fixed in consultations with the astrologers. They have asked him not to do it before the lunar eclipse as it will be a bad omen," sources said.

Meanwhile Chiranjeevi's younger brother and Telugu film star Pavan Kalyan said that he has no intention of contesting the elections and will work only as an ordinary worker of the party.

"Chiranjeevi's entry in to politics will herald large scale political changes in the country. The people were waiting for him eagerly as they have lost faith in the present set of rulers", Pavan Kalyan said.

The first public meeting of Chiranjeevi in Tirupati on August 16 will be attended by an estimated 10 lakh people he said adding that the party will have ten thousand trained workers to maintain order at the meeting. The party has also put in place a team of 20 trained private commandos to provide security to the star during his public appearances.

"Once Chiranjeevi announces the executive committee of his party, the six member core committee will cease to exist", Pavan Kalyan said. Interestingly core committee mostly has the family members.

Apart from Chiranjeevi, it has brothers Pavan Kalyan, Nagendar Babu, brother in law Allu Arvind. The only two outsiders include P Mitra and Vinay Kumar.

Another interesting feature of the new party is that the hi-tech office recently opened by the star, will be only meant for Chiranjeevi and not for any other leader. "The building will be exclusively meant for Chiranjeevi where he will attend the party affairs and meet the visitors. All others will sit at another building which is coming up in Krishna Nagar", Pavan Kalyan said.
