Two pilots of the Indian Air Force were killed when their aircraft crashed in the outskirts of Hyderabad on Tuesday morning.
According to the police, the Kiran trainer aircraft, belonging to Hakimpet Air Force Academy, crashed immediately after takeoff in an open ground, about 10 km from the academy.
The incident occurred at 3 am.
The bodies were burnt beyond recognition, police said, adding that the pilots were identified as Squadron leader Bhagat (33) and trainee pilot U C Pathi (26).
Senior Air Force officials have reached the spot.
