'Rahul reminds me of Rajiv Gandhi'

May 4, 2007
30-year-old Mohammed Wazir is in the inverter business. He thinks Rahul is smart, and will make for a good leader. "I have seen his road shows, and I have seen a bit of Priyanka campaigning too. Rahul definitely connects with the people better than Priyanka," he says.

Wazir, in his childhood, had also seen the road shows of Rajiv Gandhi. "Seeing Rahul Gandhi's road shows, I was reminded of Rajiv's personality, energy, charm and honesty. He will definitely emulate his father. He is future prime minister material. Right now he must concentrate on making Uttar Pradesh a better place. His time at the top will come," he says.
