Moninder Singh Pandher and Surendra Koli, accused of sexually abusing and killing at least 17 children in Noida, will undergo narcoanalysis tests on January 5 in Ahmedabad.

This was announced by UP ADGP A C Sharma after he visited Nithari village, the site of the macabre serial killing of children, along with the State Home Secretary Arun Kumar Singh.

"The narcoanalysis of the accused will be conducted in Ahmedabad on January 5," Sharma told reporters in Noida.

Noida police got the consent letter for conducting the narcoanalysis from the Forensic Science Laboratory in Ahmedabad on Tuesday evening.

Sharma termed allegations of organ trade being a reason behind the killings as "speculative".

"We have conducted post-mortem of the remains and we have also consulted experts in the matter. It is all speculative," he said.

"We are looking at all angles and we will not let anyone go scotfree," Sharma added.

The state government has constituted a two-member committee comprising Singh and Sharma to look into the serial killings.

A senior police official said the narcoanalysis of the two accused was crucial to the investigations as some loose ends had to be tightened.

Moninder has not revealed much about his involvement in the crime and police hoped that they could gather more information from the sophisticated tests.

"He is diabetic and we could not force him after a point," he said.

Meanwhile, DIG Meerut Shailendra Kumar denied reports that there were no torsos among the remains of the victims.

Talking to reporters after visiting Nithari village, he said four to five torsos had been found.

Asked if the police had ruled out an organ trade angle to the crime, Kumar said, "We cannot rule out anything. We are looking at all aspects. But till there is any concrete evidence, how can we say anything?"
