Hurriyat Conference on Monday condemned the blasts in the Delhi-Attari special express and said it was a move by 'vested interests' to derail the peace process going on between India and Pakistan.

In his reaction, Hurriyat Conference Chairman Mirwaiz Umer Farooq told PTI that the incident came at a time when Pakistani Foreign Minister Khursheed Mahmood Kasuri was scheduled to arrive in New Delhi for talks with External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee.

"There are lots of expectations from the talks as the relations between India and Pakistan have been on track," he said.

The Mirwaiz, while condemning the incident in strongest possible words, requested both the countries to continue with the dialogue process as this will be a befitting reply to all those who wanted to sabotage friendly relations between the two countries.

"In this time of grief, our heart goes with all those who have lost their kith and kin in the tragic incident," the Mirwaiz said.
