Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will campaign in the Gujarat Assembly elections. The chief minister will campaign for his party Janata Dal (United) candidates in the elections, following demand from party leaders and workers in Gujarat.
JD(U) sources said Nitish Kumar would campaign on December 6.
"Nitish Kumar is leaving for Gujarat on Wednesday. He will reach Baroda in the evening and will campaign for JD(U) candidates in the four Assembly seats on Thursday," a senior JD(U) leader said.
JD(U) had requested him to campaign in support of the party candidates assembly constituencies, where the number of migrant workers from Bihar will be a key factor.
Nitish Kumar will address public rallies in Surat, Narmada and Balsar.
"Nitish Kumar's elections campaign will be against the BJP led by Narendra Modi," another JD(U) leader said.
