The Bharatiya Janata Party and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad have called for a bandh in Hyderabad on Monday to protest against the soft stand taken by the government in handling terrorism.
The BJP and the VHP, while condemning the attack, also burnt Pakistan flags in protest against the incident.
The Hyderabad police are taking no chances and say that they are all geared up.
Opposition leader Lal Kishenchand Advani said that the only way to tackle terrorism was to reintroduce POTA. He said that the government had made a mistake while withdrawing POTA and added that the terrorism policy by the government was soft.
He said that POTA had been repealed only to appease a certain community and added that Hyderabad blast like incidents were only indications of the government's soft terror policy.
He said that Andhra Pradesh had become a hub for terrorists while Mumbai was second on the list after Jammu and Kashmir.
