A supplementary chargesheet was filed on Wednesday in Bharatiya Janata Party leader Pramod Mahajan's murder trial.
It contained details from a telecom company on a threatening text message reportedly sent by his brother Pravin days before allegedly shooting him.
Special Public Prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam submitted a six-page supplementary chargesheet containing the statement and certificate provided by Reliance Infocom officer Gyanendra Upadhyay about the message.
The computer-extract stated that a message was sent from mobile number 9323960307 (owned by Pravin) to mobile number 9811445454 (owned by Pramod) on April 15, 2006 at 1639 hrs.
The message was found in the inbox of a phone.
BJP leader Gopinath Munde identified the phone as Pramod's handset before Additional Sessions Judge Shrihari Davare on Tuesday.
The message included Pravin's name along with a threat in the form of a poem.
Defence counsel Harshad Ponda will continue to cross-examine Munde on April 24, when the case will be further heard.
