Ujjain: 3 NSUI workers held for college poll violence

Three National Students Union of India workers were arrested in Ujjain on Monday in connection with the violence and rioting in Madhav College during the student union polls, taking the total number of arrests in the case to 27.

The three were identifed as Sandeep Lote, Jitendra Parmar and Vinod Chourasia, police said adding that a case was registered against them on the basis of the complaint by the college principal L N Verma.

Earlier, police had arrested 24 activists in the case who were later released on bail.
