Bharatiya Janata Party leader Pramod Mahajan, who passed away on May 3, had written the foreword of a book Rajnitike Us Par (Beyond Politics), which was slated for release in May duringĀ Parliament session.
The book was a compilation of 24 non-political speeches of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, on a wide variety of topics from art, music, public life, democracy to literature, delivered on different occasions, said Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, director general of Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini, publisher of the book.
"This was the last foreword written by Mahajan. As the chairman of Probodhini, he took keen interest in the book and wanted to release it between May 10 and 23," he said.
The book was edited by Ashwini Kumar, editor of Hindi daily Nirbhay Pathik, Sahasrabuddhe said adding, Mahajan was the chairman of Prabodhini, a Thane-base training institute, for 16 years since 1990.
Prabodhini, established in 1982 on the philosophy of former member of Parliament Rambhau Mhalgi, imparts training on time-management, public speaking and resource mobilisation, Saharabuddhe who is also the national convenor of All India Training Cell of BJP, added.
