UP health department alerted after death of 3,000 chickens

The Aligarh district administration has alerted the health department following the death of 3,000 chickens at a poultry farm in Kwarasi area during the last three days.

District Magistrate (Aligarh) Rajesh Kumar Singh told UNI over phone that 3,000 chickens have died during the last three days at a single poultry parm in the Kwarasi area, but ruled out that the deaths were triggered by bird flu.

The health deparment has been alerted and a special team of doctors constituted. The samples of the dead birds have also been sent for further tests, Singh added.
