Fifty villagers, including a doctor, were on Tuesday arrested for killing 13 people at Polkampalli in Andhra Pradesh's Mahabubnagar district, police said.
Thirteen people, including four women and four children, died when their house in Polkampalli was set afire on Friday night.
The motive for the killings was a dispute over a piece of land between two families, Superintendent of Police P K Srinivas Reddy told reporters in Mahabubnagar.
A special police team was formed to arrest the accused, he said.
They were arrested from Kodangal, Hyderabad and Gulbarga in Karnataka, he said.
Eleven women were among the arrested, Reddy said.
